I offer 2 types of portraits: The Master Piece or Alla Prima. Alla Prima is produced in one sitting, ideally from life, though from photos is possible, especially with pets. This allows for painting with instinct, great depth of character and an intimate and unique outcome. It is less detailed and layered but results in a more affordable portrait. At a fixed price of £375, this is just as much about the experience for the sitter as it is about the art work. On the other hand, Your Master Piece is an artwork produced with more Classical and Romantic techniques and themes. produced over the course of months, it requires much design, layering and drying of paints and incorporates greater levels of detail consequently reflecting a higher cost but a dramatic work that will be the centerpiece of any space. Master pieces start at £1500 and increase dependant on your desired specifications.
